Over the years, I have coached 100s of women and the majority always say to me...

"I wish I liked exercise. I wish I could find something I love." 

For me, that’s Pilates and I am pretty proud to say that most of those women, who questioned ever loving working out, were all transformed into a Pilates lover after my class!

I’m pretty passionate about two things:
 
1. Motivating Mama’s to love and connect to their bodies
2. AND PILATES!
 
So an obvious choice was to blend my two passions and create Pilates Playground: A kick-ass full-body workout for YOU in a fun kid-friendly environment for your lil' ones.
 
Pilates was the only exercise I did throughout my Mommyhood Journey.

I had an easy pregnancy with no back or joint pain or inflammation. I only gained 22 pounds and I felt strong + connected to my body.
 
After giving birth to my son, I used Pilates to help me...

REGAIN ALIGNMENT
Combine 40 weeks (or more!) of carrying a baby with pregnancy hormones galore, and more than likely you have a pelvis that feels like it’s constantly on the move. Pilates not only lengthens and tones abdominal muscles, but it also focuses specifically on the alignment of the spine relative to the pelvis. AKA: happy hips!

PELVIC FLOOR
Ever sneeze since having a baby and pee a little!?? I sure have and that in and of itself is why we need to work on our pelvic floor.

A FLATTER BELLY
We don’t work on the just the rectus abdominus muscles. We work on your ENTIRE core. A Pilates workout shifts the focus towards lengthening the muscle as it strengthens, which gives us mama’s a leaner flatter belly faster than any other abs option out there.

RECONNECT
Let’s face it, post-baby all the way through toddlerhood is a hard time to feel like our body is ours.
Pilates is a mind-body exercise that will help you feel in touch and in tune with your beautiful body!
 
I mean let’s get real: If only we could have the same joy about our post-baby bellies as we do for our new baby! Hell, even with a toddler we find ourselves saying the same thing!

Next thing you know, we're pregnant again and our abdominal muscles are stretched and weaken while our joints are loose and unstable.
